New moons and solar eclipses

You may know by now that meditation is a core practice in my life and also what I urge my clients to at least give a try. You can do an open eyed walking meditation or sit in the traditional postures, using tools recommended by the Masters of Yoga. But today I want to talk about both new moons and solar eclipses because these events always fascinate me and I want to open to the grace in honoring these events. Both are wonderful times for turning within and this combination coming up of a new moon and solar eclipse on October 2, 2024 is especially powerful for that reason. It is said one can notice and take advantage of the energy a few days before and after this time so I recommend this and will honor the wisdom offered. I hope you will try it out for yourself. October 2, 2024 is the date of this latest new moon combined with a solar eclipse, and for me, a day to honor the passing of my spiritual Master. I am grateful for all that he taught me and for the guidance I always receive when I turn to those teachings.

On another note, I always feel my nervous system is more sensitive and that relationships can be strained, or enhanced if the connection is loving, during the time of solar eclipses. Misunderstandings can easily happen. So I plan to spend this week in more contemplative ways, including more meditation, being in Nature, journaling, and keeping conversations to a minimum. I love listening to and receiving guidance from the voice within my own heart and above, as to my forward movements.

Wishing everyone a very beautiful week as you find ways to turn within and allow yourself to be nourished by your own heart and the benevolence of God or the Universe, however that works for you.

Be safe and be wholly you. Stay safe.
